Role Description The Senior Business Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Mathura, responsible for driving business growth and branch performance for Shriram Life Insurance. This role involves developing and executing sales and distribution strategies, managing and mentoring a team, and ensuring achievement of business targets through effective planning and monitoring.

Manager will oversee customer acquisition and retention, build strong relationships with clients and partners, and ensure superior service standards aligned with company values.



Day-to-day activities include reviewing sales pipelines, analyzing performance reports, coordinating with cross-functional teams, implementing marketing and outreach initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Qualifications

Strong skills in sales management, business development, and target-driven execution for insurance or financial services.

Experience in team leadership, performance management, and mentoring for field and branch-level staff.

Competence in customer relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.

Ability to analyze business data, prepare performance reports, and make data-informed decisions.

Familiarity with digital tools, CRM systems, and technology-enabled service platforms.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse customer groups in rural and urban markets.

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.

Prior experience in life insurance or financial services, particularly in branch or regional management, is highly beneficial.
