About Enveu Enveu is building AI-powered products for media, OTT, and enterprise workflow automation. We are looking for a Senior AI Backend Engineer who embraces AI as part of their daily development workflow and enjoys building intelligent, scalable, and production-ready applications.

You should be passionate about using AI to write better code, solve problems faster, automate repetitive tasks, and deliver products at startup speed.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build scalable backend services for AI-powered applications.
- Develop REST APIs and microservices that power intelligent workflows.
- Integrate AI models and third-party services into backend systems.
- Build reusable backend components that accelerate product development.
- Leverage AI throughout the software development lifecycle for solution design, coding, debugging, testing, documentation, code reviews, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, and cross-functional teams to transform ideas into production-ready features.
- Take ownership of features from architecture and implementation through deployment and maintenance.
- Evaluate and experiment with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and technologies.
- Continuously improve engineering productivity through AI-assisted development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 6+ years of backend software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 17+ preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and RESTful API development.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or similar databases.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ,



or other messaging systems is a plus.
- Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Docker, Git, Maven/Gradle, and modern development practices.
- Solid problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

AI Skills (Must Have)
- Actively use AI tools in your daily development workflow to improve speed, quality, and productivity.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Gemini, and Replit AI.
- Passion for continuously learning and adopting emerging AI tools and development workflows.

Nice to Have
- Experience integrating OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or other LLM APIs.
- Familiarity with AI agents, MCP (Model Context Protocol), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or event-driven architectures.
- Experience building SaaS or enterprise-grade applications.
- Experience in Media, OTT, or workflow automation platforms.
