Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Own and maintain the books of accounts for the UK entity.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Oversee invoicing, Accounts Receivable, collections, and complex accounting activities.
- Review accruals, deferred income/revenue, prepayments, and revenue recognition.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
- Support statutory, internal, and external audits.

Required Qualifications

- 7+ Years of accounting experience.
- Bachelor`s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Solid experience in financial reporting, month-end close, revenue accounting,



finance operations, and technical accounting.
- Strong understanding of accruals, deferred income/revenue, and revenue recognition.
- Hands-on experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and Django.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- CA Inter, ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA (Inter), M.Com, or MBA (Finance).
- Experience with UK accounting or UK books of accounts.
- Exposure to finance process automation.
