- Create and manage 3D CAD models of seating components and assemblies using CATIA V5/V6
- Develop parametric models for seat frames, foams, trims, mechanisms, and comfort features
- Ensure CAD models meet packaging, ergonomic, and manufacturing constraints
- Perform clash detection and interface checks with surrounding vehicle systems
- Support DMU reviews, virtual build events, and design feasibility discussions
- Optimize seat layout for comfort, visibility, and safety compliance
- Collaborate with seating engineers to convert functional needs into robust CAD designs
- Support engineering release processes and ensure model maturity through development gateways
- Prepare drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation for supplier communication
- Work closely with Studio Design, Vehicle Architecture, and Manufacturing teams
- Participate in design reviews and provide CAD feasibility input
- Coordinate with suppliers to validate CAD data and assist with tooling development
