This role leans heavily toward the frontend, where you will architect and build highly performant, scalable, and user-centric interfaces using Next.js. On the backend, you will design robust, high-throughput microservices using Python and FastAPI, all deployed and managed within an AWS ecosystem.

As an SDE-3, you will not only write exceptional code but also shape our architecture, mentor junior engineers, and ensure our systems can scale seamlessly. Key ResponsibilitiesFrontend Architecture & Development (Primary Focus) Next.js Mastery: Architect and develop robust, SEO-optimized, and high-performance frontend applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.

Performance Optimization: Implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and optimize core web vitals to ensure a blazing-fast user experience.

State & Component Management: Design scalable component libraries and manage complex client-side state using context, Redux, Zustand, or modern data-fetching libraries like TanStack Query.

Accessibility & UX: Ensure all web applications are accessible, responsive, and provide a flawless user experience across devices.

Backend & API Development API Design:



Build and maintain secure, asynchronous RESTful APIs and microservices using Python and FastAPI.

Database Management: Design scalable database schemas and optimize queries across relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.

System Integration: Ensure seamless data flow between the Next.js frontend and Python backend, managing authentication, session handling, and secure data transmission.

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps AWS Ecosystem: Deploy, monitor, and scale applications on AWS (utilizing services such as ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, CloudFront, and IAM).

AI Integration: Leverage AWS Bedrock for developing and integrating advanced AI capabilities. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Contribute to infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.

CI/CD Pipeline: Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) to automate testing and deployments.

Technical Leadership Mentorship: Mentor SDE-1 and SDE-2 engineers, conduct rigorous code reviews, and advocate for engineering best practices (Clean Code, TDD, SOLID principles).

System Design: Lead architectural discussions, make critical technology choices, and document system designs.

Ownership:



Take full ownership of features from inception and design through deployment and production monitoring.

What We Are Looking For Experience: 5-8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of shipping production-grade applications.

Frontend Expertise: Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js. You understand the nuances of client vs. server components, hydration, and contemporary frontend architecture.

Backend Proficiency: Strong foundational knowledge of Python and practical experience building high-performance APIs with FastAPI.

Cloud Fluency: Hands-on experience designing and operating systems on AWS. You should be comfortable with containerization (Docker) and serverless architectures.

Engineering Excellence: Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, system design, and database optimization.

Problem Solver: Exceptional debugging skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production issues.
