Reports To :CTO / Head of Engineering
Location : Bangalore
Engagement Type : Full-time Permanent
Team Members : 25–30 engineers + BA, Design, DevOps across squads
Start Date : Immediate / As soon as available

ABOUT THE ROLE
Cloudberry Technologies is building a next-generation, AI-powered PropTech CRM for the Irish residential property market. Our client is engineered from the ground to build as the property operating platform of choice for Irish estate agencies, with a deliberate Sales-first focus: new homes sales, resale pipeline management, real-time portal syndication (Daft.ie, MyHome.ie, Rightmove), and a deep AI capability layer embedded across every workflow.
We are looking for a Scrum Master & Project Coordinator who thrives at the operational heart of a multi-squad delivery programme. This is emphatically not a senior project manager role — we are not looking for someone to produce Gantt charts, manage budgets, or attend executive steering committees. We need a skilled Scrum practitioner who understands that their primary job is to make teams flow: removing blockers, running tight ceremonies, keeping JIRA clean and meaningful, and surfacing delivery health through honest, accurate reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sprint Ceremony Facilitation
‣ Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies across all 5 squads: Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint
Review, and Sprint Retrospective
‣ Run tight, time-boxed stand-ups — keeping each to 15 minutes or less, maintaining focus on progress, plan, and blockers only
‣ Lead sprint planning sessions with each squad, ensuring stories are well-estimated, acceptance criteria are clear, and sprint capacity is not overloaded
‣ Facilitate backlog refinement sessions in collaboration with the Senior BA and Development Lead — ensuring tickets are sprint-ready before planning
‣ Run retrospectives that are genuinely useful: structured, psychologically secure, action-oriented, with follow-through tracked from the previous retro
‣ Manage the cross-squad synchronisation ceremony (weekly Scrum of Scrums) — surfacing inter-squad dependencies,
shared blockers, and alignment issues before they become problems
‣ Prepare and circulate clear ceremony agendas in advance; publish concise meeting notes and action items within 24 hours of every ceremony
JIRA Administration & Hygiene
‣ Own the JIRA project configuration for the Soleshire programme — board setup, swimlanes, workflows, issue types, custom fields, and sprint structure
‣ Maintain rigorous JIRA hygiene: ensure all active stories have up-to-date status, assignees, estimates, story points, sprint allocation, and linked epics
‣ Work with the Development Lead and Senior BA to ensure the product backlog is prioritised, groomed, and sprintready at least one sprint ahead
‣ Define and enforce consistent JIRA conventions across all 5 squads — issue naming, ticket templates, definition of ready, definition of done, and acceptance criteria format
‣ Conduct weekly JIRA audits to identify stale tickets, unestimated stories, orphaned tasks, and tickets missing key metadata — resolve or escalate each case
‣ Create and maintain JIRA dashboards for the Development Lead, Project Manager,
and Soleshire Ireland client stakeholders — tailored views for different audiences
‣ Manage squad-level and programme-level release notes: collate completed stories per sprint, generate structured release summaries from JIRA for client review
Burn-Down, Velocity & Sprint Reporting
‣ Own and maintain sprint burn-down charts for every squad — monitoring daily progress, identifying burn-down anomalies early, and raising concerns before the end of sprint
‣ Produce weekly programme health reports: sprint progress by squad, velocity trends, carry-over stories, blockers, and risk flags — distributed to the Development Lead and Project Manager every Friday
‣ Track and publish squad velocity over rolling 4-sprint windows — using velocity data to improve sprint planning accuracy and identify capacity trends
‣ Produce end-of-sprint delivery reports: stories completed vs. committed, carry-overs with root-cause notes, team capacity actuals vs. plan, and retrospective action status
‣ Maintain an inter-squad dependency tracker — a live view of which squads are waiting on which deliverables from other squads, with estimated resolution dates
‣ Produce the monthly programme dashboard for Soleshire Ireland stakeholders: milestone status (RAG), overall velocity trend, budget burn rate awareness, risk register summary, and upcoming sprint commitments
‣ Generate ad-hoc JIRA reports and data extracts on request from the Development Lead, Senior BA, or client stakeholders
Cross-Squad Coordination & Dependency Management
‣ Act as the central coordination point between all 5 squads — proactively identifying and tracking cross-squad dependencies before they create blockers
‣ Maintain a live cross-squad dependency map (in JIRA or Confluence): what each squad needs from other squads, expected delivery date, and current status
‣ Flag dependency risks to the Development Lead and relevant squad leads as soon as they are identified — not at the point where they have already caused a delay
‣ Coordinate shared resources (DevOps, infrastructure, Lead Architect input) across squads — managing time allocation and avoiding squad-level contention
‣ Facilitate structured handover of deliverables between squads — for example, when the DevOps squad delivers a new environment that Squad Alpha is waiting on
‣ Maintain a programme-level blocker log: every blocker across all squads recorded with owner, date raised, expected resolution, and escalation status
‣ Coordinate with the Senior BA on story readiness across squads — ensuring analysis, wireframes, and acceptance criteria are available before sprint planning
Experience & Background
‣ Years of Experience: 3–6 years in an Agile delivery role — Scrum Master, Agile Project Coordinator, Delivery Manager, or equivalent. This is a mid-level role, not a junior coordinator position.
‣ Software Engineering Context: Must have worked in a software product development environment — ideally a B2B
SaaS or enterprise software team.
Estate agency / PropTech background is a bonus but not required.
‣ Team Size Exposure: Experience supporting teams of 15+ people in aggregate across squads. Understanding of how team size affects ceremony dynamics, velocity stability, and communication overhead.
DESIRABLE / NICE TO HAVE
‣ Protected Scrum Master (SSM), Advanced CSM (A-CSM), or PSM II certification
‣ Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus) in a multi-team programme context
‣ Familiarity with JIRA Advanced Roadmaps (formerly Portfolio for JIRA) for programme-level planning and dependency visualisation
‣ Knowledge of the property or PropTech domain — estate agency workflows, portal ecosystems, AML compliance, or CRM platforms
‣ Experience using Confluence for structured programme documentation — team handbooks, decision logs, architecture decision records
‣ Background working in a distributed / remote-first engineering team across multiple time zones (UK/Ireland + India)
‣ Experience with OKR or Objectives-based delivery alongside sprint-level Scrum tracking
‣ Familiarity with Miro, FigJam, or EasyRetro for running engaging virtual retrospectives and planning sessions
‣ Basic understanding of software engineering concepts — enough to understand what engineers mean by 'blocked on an API endpoint' or 'the CI pipeline is failing'
‣ Previous experience supporting a client-facing engagement where programme health reports were shared externally with a paying client
ABOUT CLOUDBERRY TECHNOLOGIES
Cloudberry Technologies (also branded Cloudberry360) is a software development and IT consulting company with offices in the UK, US, India, and Dubai. Our Bangalore engineering centre is the delivery hub for product engineering across our client portfolio. We believe that a great Scrum Master is one of the highest-leverage hires on any software delivery programme.
We are not looking for someone to fill a process role — we are looking for someone who genuinely improves how teams work, makes delivery more predictable, and gives both our engineers and our clients more confidence in what is being built and when. The Soleshire engagement is a 12-month, €1.26M programme with a clear milestone structure, a client who cares deeply about delivery transparency, and an engineering team that is technically strong and motivated. This is a well-structured programme — and we want a Scrum Master who can keep it that way as complexity scales through Q2 and Q3.
