Project management
- Partner with internal customers and stakeholders to ensure fragrance strategies align to overall business objectives.
- Consistently drive process, discipline and effective execution to bring the desired speed to market.
- Monitor results and have the agility to change the course of a project when needed.
- Good understanding of the big picture and utilize this knowledge to define and establish competitive solutions or strategies.
- Maintain regional or global visibility, both internally and externally.
- Fragrance Trouble shooting and identify technical challenges.
Knowledge Management
- Support the principles of the learning organization.
- Develop deep understanding of market, consumer and customer needs aligned with innovation and project needs.
- Work in close collaboration with Consumer Insight team to generate key insights relevant for customer and internal teams.
People Management
- Mentor multi-disciplinary talent.
- Support project team members in their development.
What you will need to be successful
- Master s or Bachelor s degree in Chemistry, Fragrance, Marketing, Business or any other relevant discipline.
- Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience in an international environment.
- Excellent Olfactive communication skills which supports the overall creative process - discriminate, describe (association) and odor memory.
- Ability to effectively identify potential fragrances based on market relevance.
- Manage the execution of the Olfactive strategy by providing creative direction and (Olfactive) guidance to Perfumers to stimulate creativity.
- Solid understanding of functional and technical capabilities, including knowledge of the consumers and different markets.
- Excellent influencing skills across levels within the organization.
- Robust project management and prioritization skills.
- Open minded, willing to embrace diversity with strong agility.
- Ability to deliver in a fast-changing environment and manage pressure.
- Curious approach, enjoy difficult challenges.
