Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of SCADA systems for plant operations.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in the selection and integration of control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define control system requirements and ensure alignment with operational goals.
- Oversee the configuration and customization of SCADA systems, including alarm management, data acquisition, and reporting tools.
- Ensure system performance, stability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical training and support.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Preparation of Bill of materials for major equipment and bulk items for hazardous and safe areas.
- Engage with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and Choose the best tools and solutions for SCADA systems.
- Co-ordinate with supplier for quotation and technical discussion.
- Preparation of IO list, Network architecture. SOP preparation.
- Communications, meetings, coordination with multidisciplinary engineering team, professional consultants, vendors, suppliers, contractors.

Technical Competencies for the Job

- Strong knowledge of PLC and SCADA development.
- Expertise in SCADA software platforms (e.g., Wonderware, Siemens,



Factory Talk View, Ignition, etc.).
- Proficient in PLC programming, HMI design, and alarm management.
- Robust knowledge of communication protocols (Profinet, Ethernet, EtherCAT, Serial, OPC/UA, Modbus, TCP/IP, etc.) and networking in industrial environments.
- Experience with data acquisition systems, industrial sensors, and control hardware.
- Hands on with design engineering of Process, Food and Pharma Industry.
- Ability to Make deliverables from scratch.
- Proven ability to lead projects, manage stakeholders, and deliver high-quality results.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactiveness and agility to work in start-up industry.
- Flexible to handle tasks given beyond defined responsibilities as per project needs.
- Accustomed to work on fast-track projects with high time commitments.
- Ability to deliver on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Ability to understand and implement the fast track and intricate technological developments in process plant engineering.
- Good knowledge of Electrical Codes and Standards (IEC, IEEE, IS) and their implementation in day-to-day deliverables.
- High level of proficiency in MS office tools like MS Office, MS Excel.
- Shall have knowledge of electrical system and switch gear and process plant engineering.
