Position: SAP HCM Practice Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Practice Lead with strong functional expertise in SAP HCM and proven leadership capabilities. The candidate will be responsible for leading SAP HCM engagements, managing teams, driving client interactions, and ensuring successful delivery of SAP HCM implementation and support projects, particularly within PSU/Government sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead SAP HCM practice initiatives and project delivery activities.
- Conduct client workshops for business process discovery, requirement gathering, and solution design.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders throughout project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, testing, deployment, and support.
- Manage end-to-end SAP HCM implementations and rollouts.
- Prepare business blueprints, configure SAP HCM modules, and oversee testing activities.
- Provide functional specifications to technical teams and validate developed solutions.
- Ensure successful integration of SAP HCM with other SAP modules.
- Drive process improvements and recommend best practices aligned with business requirements.
- Manage project teams, mentor consultants, and ensure quality delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client communications and stakeholder management.
- Support pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations, and practice development initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience
- 15 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM.
- Solid expertise in:
- Personnel Administration (PA)
- Organizational Management (OM)




- Time Management (TM)
- Payroll – India
- Employee Self-Service (ESS)
- Manager Self-Service (MSS)
- Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP HCM implementation projects in PSU/Government organizations.
- Extensive experience in:
- Requirement gathering and workshop facilitation
- Blueprinting and solution design
- Configuration and testing across HCM process cycles
- Payroll and Time Management schema customization
- Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs)
- Integration with other SAP modules
- Experience in preparing functional specifications and supporting technical development activities.
- Exposure to PSU/Government business processes is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Leadership & Communication
- Proven experience leading and managing SAP HCM teams.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely project delivery.

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or related discipline.
- Master's degree is an added advantage.

Certifications
- Mandatory: SAP HCM Certification.
- Additional SAP certifications will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in large-scale PSU/Government transformation projects.
- Knowledge of latest SAP HCM trends and integration scenarios.
- Experience in handling AMS, implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects.
