Role & Responsibilities

- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather and analyze SAP requirements.
- Design, develop, and deploy custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
- Implement and maintain SAP objects including BAPIs, IDocs, RFCs, ALV, SmartForms, and AdobeForms.
- Perform performance tuning, code reviews, debugging, and unit testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot production issues, and implement corrective measures within SLAs.
- Document technical specifications, adhere to coding standards, and mentor junior ABAP developers.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

- 3+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in ECC or S/4HANA environments.
- Strong proficiency with procedural and object-oriented ABAP programming.




- Experience building ALV reports, SmartForms, AdobeForms, BAPIs, IDocs, and RFC interfaces.
- Proven expertise in performance tuning, debugging, and code optimization.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control and unit testing frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in Agile teams.

Preferred

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA ABAP enhancements—CDS Views, AMDP, BOPF.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development and SAP Gateway OData services.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, transport management, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of integration with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Certification in SAP ABAP or related specialty areas.
- Proven track record of remote collaboration across distributed teams.
