We are looking for a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding to drive business growth and expand our customer base in the Mumbai market.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Sea & Air freight forwarding sales, with a proven ability to generate business from both new and existing customers, build long-term client relationships, and achieve sales targets.

Candidates with strong knowledge of the local Mumbai freight forwarding market will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales of Sea & Air freight forwarding services across the assigned market.
- Generate new business through lead generation, prospecting, and market development.
- Develop business from both new and existing customers to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and convert new sales opportunities within the local market.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Focus on customer retention and account growth to increase the overall client base.




- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable freight forwarding solutions.
- Conduct regular market mapping and identify potential customers and business opportunities.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure consistent business generation.
- Work towards achieving individual and organizational sales and revenue targets.

Candidate Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 3–15 years of experience in Sales / Business Development within the Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry.
- Robust experience in selling Sea & Air Export and Import services.
- Good understanding of the local Mumbai freight forwarding market.
- Proven experience in new business development and lead generation.
- Strong customer acquisition and retention skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer relationship-management and networking abilities.
- Target-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive approach.
