Hiring: Sales Manager – Hotel Industry (Ahmedabad)
Position: Sales Manager
Location: Ahmedabad
Industry: Hospitality / Hotel Industry
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales, business development, or hospitality sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
- Generate business through Corporate, Travel Agents, Event Planners, OTAs, and Government sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and business agreements with clients.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations, Banquet, and Operations teams for seamless guest service.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and revenue analysis for management.
- Represent the hotel at networking events, exhibitions, and industry meetings.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Robust client relationship management and business development abilities.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Result-oriented approach with a focus on revenue generation.
- Good understanding of hospitality sales trends and market dynamics.
Software Knowledge Required:
- Property Management Systems (PMS) such as IDS Next, Opera PMS, Hotelogix, eZee Absolute.
- CRM Software for client management and lead tracking.
- Channel Manager and OTA Extranet management.
- Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of revenue management and hotel booking systems will be an added advantage.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
