Role Purpose / Overview:

You will be responsible for onboarding recyclers and buyers, selling recyclable waste (paper, plastic, rubber, metals, etc.), procuring raw materials for production, and managing strong relationships across the value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, research, and onboard recyclers, buyers, and suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts.
- Manage and update recycler/buyer databases and CRM.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics for smooth pickups and deliveries.
- Track market prices (OCC, mixed paper, HDPE, etc.)



and support pricing decisions.
- Build long-term strategic partnerships with recyclers and mills.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on volumes, margins, and deals.

Requirements:

- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Basic understanding of recyclable materials (or willingness to learn fast).
- Comfortable with fieldwork as well as calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
- Good Excel/Google Sheets skills; CRM experience is a plus. Self-driven and target-oriented, comfortable in a quick-growing startup/NGO environment.

Nice to Have:

- Existing network in recycling, scrap yards, paper mills, or waste management.
- Experience in scrap trading, recycling, waste management, or B2B sales/procurement.
- Exposure to EPR, sustainability, or circular economy projects.
- Fluency in English & Hindi (local language is a plus).
