About the Role

We're an early-stage IT services company specializing in database services — helping businesses design, manage, optimize, and secure their data infrastructure. We're building our sales engine from the ground up and looking for a hungry, hands-on SDR Intern to help us find and connect with our first wave of clients. This is a rare chance to work directly with the founding team, shape how we do sales, and grow fast alongside the company. No rigid processes here — just real ownership from day one.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and identify potential clients that need database services (e.g., companies with growing data needs, outdated systems, or no in-house DBA support)
- Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and other creative channels
- Set up discovery calls/meetings for the founder/sales lead
- Track and organize all outreach, leads, and follow-ups in Google Sheets
- Learn our database service offerings (e.g., database design, migration, administration, optimization,



backup & recovery, security — customize as relevant) well enough to explain them clearly to prospects
- Help test and refine outreach messaging (emails, LinkedIn scripts, cold call openers) — your ideas matter here
- Meet weekly targets for outreach activity and meetings booked
- Work closely with the founder to understand what's working and adjust approach quickly

Requirements

- Recently completed a degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable making cold calls and handling rejection with a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of databases/IT services (or genuine willingness to learn quick — you don't need to be technical, but curiosity helps)
- Organized and self-motivated — you'll need to manage your own pipeline in Sheets without much hand-holding
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving, figure-it-out-as-you-go environment
