Role Description The Sales Associate role at SWITCH POINT (SP) is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Sales

Associate will handle day-to-day sales activities, including responding to inquiries, presenting product options, preparing quotations, and following up with leads and existing customers. This role involves maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, coordinating with the operations team to ensure timely deliveries, and supporting order processing and documentation.

Associate will also help build long-term relationships, identify new business opportunities,



and provide basic technical information about switch products and their applications. Regular communication with clients, participation in internal meetings, and adherence to company processes and service standards are key parts of this role.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong customer relationship and communication skills, including the ability to engage professionally with B2B clients and respond promptly to their needs.
- Candidates should possess sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements, present suitable product options, and support closing deals.
- Candidates should possess basic technical understanding of electronic components or industrial products, with the ability to learn product specifications, datasheets, and certifications.
- Candidates should possess organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining accurate records, managing quotations, and supporting order processing.
- Relevant skills such as proficiency in MS Office or similar tools, comfort working with CRM or sales tracking systems, and attention to detail will be beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in business, commerce, engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in sales or customer service in B2B, electronics, or manufacturing sectors.
