Role Description The Sales Associate (Kolkata) will support clients throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to project handover, for interior design and build services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, requiring regular interaction with walk-in clients, scheduled appointments, and project stakeholders.

Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and engaging prospective clients, understanding their space and design requirements, explaining service offerings and pricing, and preparing basic proposals or estimates in coordination with the design team.

The Sales

Associate will follow up on leads, maintain accurate records of customer interactions, and support negotiations to close sales while ensuring a positive,



professional client experience. The role may also involve coordinating showroom visits, assisting with presentations, and collaborating with designers and project managers to keep clients informed and satisfied.

Qualifications

- Client engagement and communication skills, including active listening, transparent verbal and written communication, and a customer-centric approach.
- Sales and negotiation skills, such as lead follow-up, relationship building, basic pricing discussions, and closing techniques.
- Organizational and administrative abilities, including maintaining records, managing appointments, and using CRM or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of interior design and construction services, with the ability to explain concepts and workflows to clients.
- Comfort working on-site in the Kolkata metropolitan area, with flexibility to meet clients’ schedules and project needs.
- Proficiency in common office and communication tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software); familiarity with digital collaboration tools is a plus.
- Prior experience in retail, interior design sales, real estate, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, design, or a related field is an advantage.
