Role Description The Safety Officer role at HSE INTEGRO is a contract, on-site position based in Nellore.

The Safety

Officer will monitor workplace conditions, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. This role involves identifying hazards, recommending corrective actions, and supporting the implementation of safety policies and procedures.

Officer will deliver safety briefings and toolbox talks, maintain incident and near-miss records, and assist in investigations and root-cause analyses.



The position also includes collaborating with site management and HSE consultants to continuously improve safety standards and promote a strong safety culture among all personnel.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.

Experience conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits in industrial or construction environments.

Ability to develop, implement, and review safety procedures, SOPs, and emergency response plans.

Competence in incident reporting, investigation techniques, and root-cause analysis.

Effective communication skills for delivering safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to diverse teams.

Proven capability to work on-site, coordinate with operations staff, and influence safe behaviors at all levels.

Relevant skilled certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are highly desirable.

Diploma or degree in safety, engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline is preferred.

Familiarity with documentation, reporting tools, and basic computer skills to maintain accurate safety records.

Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to hazard identification.
