Role Description The Safety Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Patna, responsible for overseeing safety standards across construction sites. The role involves conducting regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

The Safety

Officer will develop, implement, and update safety procedures, guidelines, and emergency response plans. Daily tasks include delivering safety trainings and toolbox talks,



monitoring the use of personal protective equipment, and documenting incidents and near-misses. The role also requires coordinating with project managers, site supervisors, and workers to promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement in health, safety, and security practices.

Qualifications

Robust expertise in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, with the ability to apply regulations and best practices on construction sites.

Proficiency in Accident Investigation, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Experience in Security and site safety management to protect personnel, equipment, and property.

Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training programs, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns.

Relevant diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field; professional safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are an advantage.

Knowledge of local and international construction safety standards and regulations.

Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse site teams.

Prior experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.
