Role Description The Rust Smart Contract Developer will design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts using Rust for blockchain-based applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing secure and efficient contract code, reviewing and refactoring existing contracts, implementing integrations with backend services and APIs, and collaborating with product, architecture, and QA teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.

The developer will participate in code reviews,



maintain documentation, monitor performance and security, and respond to issues in deployed contracts. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division.

Qualifications

- Strong programming skills in Rust and experience building production-grade applications or smart contracts.
- Knowledge of blockchain platforms and smart contract frameworks (e.g., Substrate, Solana, NEAR, or similar ecosystems).
- Understanding of cryptography fundamentals, distributed systems concepts, and secure software design.
- Experience with testing, debugging, and performance optimization for smart contracts and backend services.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
- Ability to translate business and functional requirements into clear technical specifications and maintain documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in Web3, DeFi, or other blockchain-related products is an advantage.
- Exposure to security auditing, formal verification, or threat modeling for smart contracts is a plus.
