We're looking for a passionate Rust Backend Developer to join our engineering team and help build high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems.

What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Rust.
- Build scalable REST APIs and microservices.
- Develop high-performance, low-latency applications.
- Integrate with databases, messaging systems, and third-party APIs.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Required Skills
- 2+ years of professional experience in Rust development.
- Strong understanding of systems programming and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with web frameworks such as Axum, Actix Web, or Rocket.
- Knowledge of MySQL and database optimisation.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication,



and API security.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Docker and containerised deployments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the FinTech domain (payments, banking, investments, trading, lending, or financial platforms).
- Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
