Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Retail Store Manager role based in Bhubaneswar.

The Retail Store

Manager oversees daily store operations, including staff scheduling, team supervision, and adherence to company policies and standards.

Responsibilities include driving sales performance, monitoring inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock management, and implementing retail loss prevention measures.



The role also focuses on delivering a high-quality customer experience, resolving escalated issues, and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant store environment.

The Retail Store

Manager collaborates with regional leadership on promotions, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to align the store with SGBL Group’s service and performance goals.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-facing abilities, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills.

- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management.

- Proficiency in Store Management, including team supervision, merchandising, and operational oversight.

- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to safeguard assets and minimize shrinkage.

- Proven experience in retail store leadership or supervisory roles.

- Ability to analyze sales data, manage targets, and use basic MS Office or POS systems.

- Demonstrated capacity to lead diverse teams, coach performance, and handle conflict constructively.

- Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
