Role Description The Restaurant Manager at Amelia will oversee daily operations to ensure a smooth and exceptional guest experience in our Mumbai location. This full-time, on-site role includes managing front-of-house staff, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, and maintaining high standards of service, food, and beverage quality.
The Restaurant
Manager will handle staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback, as well as participate in hiring and onboarding new team members.
Responsibilities also include monitoring customer satisfaction, resolving guest concerns, managing reservations, and supporting special events.
The role involves maintaining hygiene and safety standards, overseeing inventory and ordering, and working closely with leadership to meet financial and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Robust focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to delivering a consistently high-quality guest experience.
- Experience in Hiring and team management, including training, coaching, and building a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with guests, team members, and leadership.
- Solid understanding of Food & Beverage operations, including menu knowledge, service standards, and basic inventory practices.
- Prior experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a supervisory hospitality role, preferably in a premium or upscale dining environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in restaurant operations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to service and operations.
- Relevant hospitality or restaurant management education or certifications are an advantage.
