Purpose

Rishihood is recruiting a team of four to support a Social Sciences research project tentatively titled Undocumented Migration in India. The team combines on-campus analytical capacity with field-based data collection: 2 Research Assistants, based at Rishihood University, Sonipat, will lead data analysis, report writing and literature review; 2 Research Assistants, based in Kolkata and Guwahati, will conduct field surveys and on-ground data collection in their assigned regions.

Experience/Skills





1-3 years qualitative research experience. Basic quantitative analysis skills

1–3 years of demonstrated experience in field survey work

Key Responsibilities

· Analysing qualitative and quantitative data

· Writing data-based reports

· Conducting reviews of literature

· Conducting field surveys in the assigned region(s)

· On-ground data collection and coordination

Strongly Preferred

Ability to read and speak Bengali

• Comfortable working independently, whether in a research office or in the field.

• Sensitive to the social and cultural context of vulnerable and undocumented communities.

• For field-based roles: willingness to travel extensively and work across diverse field conditions.
