Role Description The Research and Development Engineer will work in a full-time remote role, contributing to the design, development, and improvement of PInterview’s online platform and interview solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting research on user needs and industry trends, defining product requirements, and participating in the end-to-end product development lifecycle.

The role involves designing and implementing new features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine concepts, and performing rigorous testing to ensure product quality and performance.



The Engineer will also analyze platform data and feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, helping to enhance the learning experience for users worldwide.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate product performance, and inform decision-making.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills to explore new concepts, assess emerging technologies, and validate product ideas.
- Candidates should possess Testing skills to plan, execute, and document functional, performance, and usability tests for platform features.
- Candidates should possess Product Development skills to translate requirements into designs, prototypes, and production-ready solutions.
- Experience in software or edtech product environments, especially online learning or assessment platforms, is beneficial.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering or technical tools and methodologies (e.g., software development frameworks, data analysis tools) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, collaborate effectively with distributed teams, and communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
