About The Role Kimirica Hunter International LLP is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented R&D; Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the development and enhancement of our range of personal care and hospitality products.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulation development, product evaluation, conducting stability studies, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as procurement, quality assurance, and production is essential to ensure the successful commercialization of new products while adhering to strict quality and regulatory standards. The R&D; Associate will play a key role in driving innovation, improving existing formulations, and ensuring that all products meet market and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Cosmetics or a related field. A minimum of three years of experience in research and development within the cosmetics, personal care, FMCG,



or pharmaceutical industry is required.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of cosmetic formulation principles, raw material properties, and laboratory testing procedures. Familiarity with stability testing, product evaluation techniques, and cosmetic regulations is essential. Good documentation and technical writing skills are necessary to maintain accurate records and reports.

Proficiency in MS Office is expected, and experience with laboratory documentation systems will be considered an advantage. Candidates must demonstrate a passion for innovation, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize formulations for a variety of personal care and hospitality products, including shampoos, conditioners, body washes, lotions, soaps, and hand washes.
- Conduct laboratory trials, performance testing, and product evaluations to support new product development and reformulation efforts.
- Prepare and present product samples for internal reviews, customer evaluations, and regulatory approvals.
- Perform stability studies, monitor results, and maintain detailed records of observations to ensure product consistency and longevity.
- Collaborate with procurement to evaluate and approve recent raw materials and alternative ingredients, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Work closely with quality assurance and production teams during pilot batch runs and commercial scale-up to troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Maintain comprehensive formulation records, technical documentation,



specifications, and development reports for audit and regulatory purposes.
- Assist in identifying and resolving formulation and manufacturing issues to improve product performance and efficiency.
- Ensure all formulations comply with applicable regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and quality requirements.
