King's Growth Fund (KGF) is looking for curious and motivated King's College students who are interested in investing and financial markets. The King's Growth Fund (KGF) is Nepal's first Student-Managed Investment Fund (SMIF). In addition to managing investors' capital, KGF provides market insights, investment research, and educational resources while offering students practical experience in professional fund management.

As a Research Analyst, you will research companies, industries, markets, and investment opportunities, and present your findings to the Investment Committee. You are free to specialise in the investment approach that interests you, including Fundamental Analysis, Technical Analysis, Floorsheet Analysis, Macroeconomic Research, Sector Research, or other investment strategies.

No prior investment experience is required; we value curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities

Research companies, industries, financial markets, and investment opportunities.

Conduct research using your preferred investment approach (Fundamental, Technical, Floorsheet, Macro, or other strategies).

Prepare research reports and investment presentations.

Present findings and investment ideas to the Investment Committee.





Monitor market developments and contribute new investment ideas.

Support portfolio managers with research and analysis when required. Eligibility

Only current King's College students are eligible to apply.

Interest in investing, finance, economics, or business.

Solid analytical and communication skills.

Willingness to learn and work collaboratively.

Basic knowledge of capital markets and Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Commitment

Minimum 4 hours per week.

This is a freelance, flexible, and primarily online role.

You are free to conduct your research on your own schedule, provided assigned tasks are completed on time.

Attendance at KGF weekly meetings is mandatory:

Monday – 8:45 PM onwards
