Your Mission
As a Renewable Energy Engineer, you will be the critical link between environmental sustainability goals and practical energy infrastructure. You will focus on designing, optimizing, and deploying renewable energy systems [solar PV, wind, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), or microgrids]. Your primary goal is to ensure our projects are technically sound, highly efficient, and capable of operating reliably in dynamic environments to maximize clean energy output.

The Day-to-Day
- System Design & Optimization: Architect and evaluate the layout and electrical design for [solar, wind, or energy storage] projects, including conceptual layouts, energy yield assessments, and interconnection reviews.
- Performance Modeling: Conduct comprehensive energy simulations and data analysis to optimize system efficiency, revenue, and asset valuation.
- Technical Due Diligence: Review engineering designs, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts, equipment specifications, and warranties for quality, compliance, and performance.
- Site & Feasibility Assessment: Perform early-stage siting, project layout optimization,
and feasibility studies, analyzing site conditions and environmental constraints.
- Monitor & Iterate: Oversee the operational performance of existing assets, utilizing machine learning and predictive forecasting to resolve system failures and optimize resource availability.
- Collaborate: Partner with multidisciplinary teamsincluding project managers, civil engineers, and environmental scientists—to ensure seamless project integration from concept to construction.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of professional engineering experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically focused on system design, modeling, or asset management.
- Deep expertise in industry-standard energy modeling software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, HOMER).
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Python, R, or MATLAB for data visualization, forecasting, or performance optimization.
- A solid understanding of electrical power systems, grid integration, and relevant codes and environmental regulations.
- A degree (BS, MS, or Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy Systems, or a related field.
Bonus Points
- You have hands-on experience with construction monitoring, EPC tender preparations, or commissioning of renewable energy projects.
- You are familiar with life cycle assessments (LCA), ESG screening, or carbon pricing analysis.
- You have experience developing machine learning models for energy-related applications.
- Professional Engineering (PE) or equivalent registration.
