B.T. Kumaon Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand, India invites application for Faculty Position in State University from eligible and interested candidates

About- On April 20, 1986, 155 acres of land were allotted for the college by the UP Govt. under the guidance of Shri Narayan Dutt Tiwari, Govt. of India. With a well-planned educational program, similar to that followed at IITs and RECs/NITs across the country, B.E. academic session began in 1991 with two branches: CSE and ECE.

Considering the land’s availability, capability, and utility, the college prepared a master plan and project report in 1996, which was approved by the administrative council. Current graduate engineering programs include computer science, electronics, electrical, civil, chemical and mechanical engineering, as well as biochemical engineering. Postgraduate programs include Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Technology (M.

Tech) in CSE and Mechanical departments. The institute also began Ph.D. programs in 2016. Other facilities for faculty and students include hostels, a staff residential campus, departmental buildings, a student activity club, and a multipurpose hall.

We are creating a learning and personality development workplace for our students. The focus is on self-discipline and mutual respect.

Eligibility/Qualification– Qualifications and experience for the above mentioned posts will be strictly as per AICTE (R.No.82 dt. 01 March 2019) /UGC (for Applied Science) norms.

Job/Position Description- Salary and perks will be as per State Government/ Institute norms.

The number and nature of vacancies may be changed without any prior notice.

The horizontal reservation for female/physically handicapped etc will be applicable as per State Government Rules.

Separate applications are to be filled for each post. Application fee in the form of Demand draft of Rs. 1500/- (1000/- for SC/ ST) in favor of Director BTKIT, Dwarahat, Almora payable at SBI KEC Dwarahat must be enclosed with each application.

How To Apply- The applicant must mention the name of the post applied for on the top of envelope.
