Location- Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, India

Eligibility/Qualification– i) A positive academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned discipline.

ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the concerned discipline (or an equivalent grade in OGPA/ a point scale wherever the grading system is followed).

iii) A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/ or research and/ or extension in an academic/ research/ extension position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor/Jr. Scientist in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/ Industry with a minimum of seven (07)



publications in the NAAS rated or Peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy-five (75) as per the criteria given at Appendix-Il of Annexure-Il to this advertisement notification.

Note: Academic / Research / Extension Score obtained, as per criteria given in Appendix-Il ofAnnexure-Il to this advertisement notification, shall have a weightage of 80/ 100 marks (80%) and 20/ 100 marks (20%) shall be for an interview before the prescribed Selection Committee.

Job/Position Description- The requisite fee of 2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) must be paid only in the shape of a Bank Draft in favor of Comptroller SKUAST-Jammu, payable at Jammu.

Salary and other Allowances SKUAST Statutes and rules of J&K; CSR are applicable from time to time. Age of recruitment Not less than 20 years and more than 55 years as of 01.01.2022. The relaxation in upper age can be granted in terms of provisions specified under SKUAST-Statutes. Terms and conditions of the appointment The above-said appointment shall be governed by the SKUAST-J Statutes and rules of the University as are in force with amendments or as may come into force from time to time.

How To Apply- After filling up the application form, the form must be submitted within the stipulated time.

The application form, along with the bank draft, complete in all respect duly supported by self-attested copies of all relevant documents, certificates and testimonials, is to be submitted to the office of Registrar, Sher-e-Kashmir.

Candidate should mention the following details on the top of the envelope containing a hard copy of the application form.

Notification no)_________________________ dated________________” A separate application with a separate fee is required for each post. Application for two different posts should not be tagged together.

All enclosures must be attached to the application form, including a self-attested scorecard.
