**Role Description The Recruiter is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh. The role involves managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing candidates through multiple channels, screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating selection decisions with hiring managers. The Recruiter will maintain accurate recruitment records, support workforce planning, and contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract diverse and qualified talent.

Daily responsibilities include communicating with candidates, scheduling interviews, following up on feedback,



and ensuring a positive and inclusive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The role also requires close collaboration with academic and administrative departments to understand staffing needs and align hiring with university policies and t imelines. Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, HR databases, and standard office productivity tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple requisitions and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of HR best practices, fair hiring standards, and non-discriminatory recruitment policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in recruitment, preferably in higher education or a large organization, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, technology-forward environment and adapt to evolving recruitment needs.**
