Role Description The R2R (Record-to-Report) role is a full time, on-site position based in Mysuru. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end accounting and reporting activities, including posting journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and ensuring accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.

The R2R professional will prepare financial statements, analyze variances, support audits, and maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.



Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, resolving discrepancies, improving process efficiency, and providing timely and reliable financial information to support business decisions.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in general ledger accounting, journal entry processing, and account reconciliation.
- Experience with month-end and year-end closing activities, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of accounting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS), internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in shared services, R2R, or corporate finance within logistics or similar industries is preferred.
