We are seeking a Quality Supervisor for a well established manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career Quality Engineer or experienced Quality Technician who is ready to move into a supervisory position.
The Quality Supervisor will oversee third shift quality activities, support production, resolve quality concerns, and help train employees on quality procedures and expectations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality activities and provide hands on support during third shift
- Supervise and train quality personnel and production employees
- Respond to quality issues and help determine root causes
- Support corrective and preventive actions
- Review inspection results and ensure parts meet customer specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and quality documentation
- Work closely with production and engineering to resolve manufacturing concerns
- Monitor compliance with established quality procedures
- Maintain accurate inspection and quality records
- Promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Previous quality experience in a manufacturing setting
- Quality Engineer, Quality Technician, or similar experience
- Interest in taking on supervisory and employee training responsibilities
- Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills
- Familiarity with quality systems, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Strong communication and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Willingness to work third shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- Previous leadership experience is helpful but not required
