About the Role

Maintain Good Laboratory/Housekeeping practices. Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments and testing records. Perform sampling and laboratory analysis as per approved test methods. Hands on experience in testing of Viscosity, Moisture, Ash, Protein/Fat/Degree of Substitution/Degree of Hydrolysis etc.

Responsibilities

- Inspect and verify incoming raw materials as per approved specifications.
- Conduct physical, chemical and sensory evaluations of Finished goods as per approved specifications.
- Coordinate with production and dispatch in product releases.




- Knowledge and hand on experience in microbial testing.
- Maintain and manage control samples and their respective records as per retention protocols.
- Timely maintenance of all records, documentation and trackers.
- Follow and implement all Quality Management System protocols.
- Identify and report non-conformances to reporting manager and assist in root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, Personal hygiene and sanitation as per industry standards.
- Participate and coordinate with cross departments in quality improvement activities.
- Participate in training and competency development programs.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related life science discipline from a recognized university.
- Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Required Skills Hands on experience in testing of Viscosity, Moisture, Ash, Protein/Fat/Degree of Substitution/Degree of Hydrolysis etc.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge and hand on experience in microbial testing.
