Software Development Excellence
Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression test suites across the Essentials product suite
Design and execute tests validating microservices, REST APIs, UI applications, and mobile workflows
Develop a thorough understanding of the product architecture within 6 months
Deliver in line with project committed metrics on Velocity, Quality, and Accuracy of Estimates
Technical Direction
Achieve comfort with all aspects of testing across the Essentials product suite within 6 to 12 months
Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in testing approaches
Design regression strategies for multi-product environments (Image K2, Pulse, Pulse Designer, Ship)
Identify gaps and propose enhancements in the test automation process and/or architecture
Process Improvement
Share ideas for process, workflow, and continuous improvement initiatives
Understand and follow all team processes while actively suggesting improvements
Apply risk-based testing and prioritization to maximize coverage with available resources
Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across the organization
Communicate clearly to understand requirements and align test coverage with organizational goals
Produce high-quality test documentation, defect reports, and concise written communications
Document test plans clearly, write precise repro steps, collaborate across products
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
3-5 years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
2+ years of experience in an Agile development environment
Proven ability to independently design test strategies and regression plans for complex multi-product systems
Experience mentoring or guiding more junior team members
Demonstrated ability to articulate technical problems, root causes, and corresponding solutions
Strong analytical and investigative skills for root cause analysis
Preferred
3+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Management domains
Experience testing platform-based applications (Körber One, FlexPage, or similar)
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required
C# and .NET — for writing automated tests and understanding both legacy .NET Framework 4.8 and modern .NET 6+/8 microservices
TypeScript — for understanding and testing Körber One / FlexPage UI applications
MSSQL — writing queries to validate data, setting up test data, verifying system state
REST API testing — including microservices validation, request/response verification
Test management tools — Azure DevOps Test Plans or similar
Test plan creation — designing comprehensive test cases and regression suites
Azure DevOps and Git — branching, PRs, pipelines
Risk-based testing and test prioritization

VS Code extension testing (Pulse Designer V2 is a VS Code extension)
Automated UI testing for TypeScript/web applications
Docker container testing and validation
Mobile application testing

Barcode/label printing workflow testing
JSON schema validation testing (KPI definitions, filters, maps, views)
End-to-end workflow testing across integrated products (Image → Pulse → Designer pipeline)
Swagger/OpenAPI for generating test coverage against API contracts
Use of AI prompts for test case generation and defect analysis
