About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Development Engineer to join our team at Indication Instruments Limited. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the entire lifecycle of new product development, from conceptualization to launch. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, manufacturing, and suppliers, to ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

The Product Development

Engineer will be responsible for overseeing design reviews, risk assessments, validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive product excellence.

Qualifications The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field. A solid understanding of product development processes, quality management systems, and risk assessment tools such as DFMEA and PFMEA is essential. Knowledge of AI applications within the engineering domain is highly desirable.





Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Prior experience in a similar role within the electronics or industrial automation sectors will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities Participate actively in all new product development activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards. Attend and contribute to design review meetings to address quality requirements and ensure design robustness. Review and analyze Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Design Validation Plans & Reports (DVP&R;) to identify potential risks and ensure appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.

Monitor and track risk mitigation actions to closure, ensuring proactive risk management throughout the development process. Review supplier quality activities related to new product development, including Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), validation, and process capability studies to ensure supplier compliance and product quality. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing lessons learned and addressing quality concerns promptly.

Ensure that product and process quality standards are maintained during the development phase,



adhering to industry standards and customer requirements. Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for any quality issues identified during development, ensuring root causes are addressed effectively. Support internal audits and customer PPAP audits to verify compliance and facilitate smooth product launches.

Maintain close communication with cross-functional teams to ensure all quality and development objectives are met efficiently.
