About The Role

Execute functional, regression, and performance tests to ensure software quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications

- Develop detailed test plans and test cases to ensure software quality

- Execute functional, regression, and performance tests to validate system reliability

- Identify, document, and track software defects for resolution

- Automate web testing using Selenium WebDriver and XPath expressions

- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools to validate backend services

- Conduct load testing using JMeter to analyze system performance

- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently

- Maintain detailed records of test results and provide reports on testing activities

- Stay updated with the latest industry practices and emerging technologies in software testing

Qualifications

Education: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech (Preferred: Mechanical / Electrical)

Experience: 2–4 years in software quality assurance/testing

Required Skills

- Proficiency in writing explicit and structured test plans and cases





- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver and XPath for automation testing

- Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman

- Familiarity with JMeter for performance and load testing

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is an advantage

- Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical domains is preferred

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Ranorex is a plus

- ISTQB certification is desirable but not mandatory
