Job Overview & Purpose:

The ideal candidate leads the on-site implementation and maintenance of all quality management systems, food safety programs, and regulatory compliance at the India factory. Acting as the primary bridge between local factory execution and international governance, this role manages daily QA activities, oversees internal audits, leads nonconformity notifications, and coordinates directly with the Quality Assurance Manager to uphold global food safety standards.

● Direct Reports: Quality Assurance Team

Key Responsibilities

● System Management & Compliance: Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HACCP, BRCGS, IFS, HALAL, KOSHER, GMP standards and FSSAI statutory regulations) across all operational departments.

● Management Reporting: Maintain daily/weekly written and verbal communication in English with the QA Manager, submitting regular reports on system performance, audit results, and action plans.

● Audits & Action Follow-Up: Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal audits, field hygiene/GHP inspections, and external certification audits.



Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans to eliminate identified nonconformities.

● Document Control: Oversee the preparation, revision, archival, and distribution of SOPs, policies, forms, and technical records.

● Customer Complaints & Nonconformities: Lead customer complaint investigations, conduct root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.

● Food Safety Culture & Training: Organize and deliver structured training programs for factory personnel regarding hygiene, HACCP, quality procedures, and food safety culture.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

● Education: Graduate degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Quality Management, or related technical fields.

● Experience: 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance within a food production plant environment.

● Technical Knowledge: Deep working knowledge of ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HACCP, BRCGS, IFS, HALAL, KOSHER, GMP standards and FSSAI statutory guidelines.

● Language Skills: Mandatory fluency in written and spoken English as well as proficiency in the local language.

● Certifications: Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor certification for ISO 22000, BRCGS.
