Role Description The Quality Assurance Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role involves designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure that software products meet defined quality standards and business requirements.

The Quality Assurance

Engineer will perform manual testing, identify defects, document issues clearly, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve problems. Daily responsibilities include reviewing requirements, preparing test plans, performing regression and functional testing,



and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools. The role also includes participation in release cycles, providing test reports, and supporting root cause analysis to enhance overall product stability and performance.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, including understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Test Execution and working with Test Cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Proficiency in Manual Testing, including defect identification, documentation, and tracking.
- Ability to analyze requirements, create clear test scenarios, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar) and basic understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; experience in financial services or fintech is an advantage.
