Job Overview Assists in quality assurance activities within manufacturing, ensuring products meet specifications and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Job Requirements

Developing and Maintaining qualty assurance protocols.

Monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Leading root cause analysis and corrective action plans.

Providing technical support to resolve quality issues.

Roles & Responsibilities Drive the automation processes for AUTOMOTIVE EMIA TE locations for planning and managing the workload for end‑to‑end (E2E) new product development and sustaining activities (including First Article Inspection, post-tool correction dimensional validation, and PPAP measurement reports).

Continuously evaluate existing processes to identify improvement opportunities and support their implementation.

Collaborate closely with the IT Development team to design and implement new digital applications and automation projects

Partner with the line managers of the Metrology Centers to define performance objectives aligned with the organization’s roadmap and conduct periodic reviews for continuous improvement.

Automate the NPD (Current Product Development) and Sustaining GDMFR processes to minimize manual intervention, improve efficiency, reduce errors, and accelerate delivery timelines.

Plan and allocate resources in collaboration with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Development effectively, ensuring proper prioritization of key activities.

Desired Candidate

Diploma or bachelor’s degree or postgraduate (BE or M.Tech) in mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.





6+ years of engineering experience and with more than 2 years of experience in supervising and leading Metrology team

Knowledge of production planning control

Experience in people and resource management

Knowledge about 3D metrology technologies

Competent knowledge of GD&T; (ASME / ISO GPS) concepts and experience with its application in product design and validation.

Intermediate Excel skills - Basic Understand of Excel tools, how to create Pivot table, data validation etc.

Considerable Experience in any 3D Metrology software like Volume Graphics, GOM, etc. combined with latest metrology techniques including CMM, Laser/Light/CT scanning.

Excellent motivational skills: a person with the ability to set and achieve goals and motivate team members to achieve the highest standards of performance in a dynamic fast paced environment.

Clear, strategic thinker with the ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems.

Strong organizational skills; independent, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven

High emotional intelligence; able to build relationships in a matrix organization and influence without direct authority

Analytical mindset; knowledgeable with data analysis and dashboarding (PowerBI, Tableau, or similar)

Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; pragmatic problem-solver
