We’re Hiring | QHSE Engineer for Chennai Location

We are seeking a QHSE Engineer with 8–10 years of Home Office/Detailed Engineering experience supporting EPC/EPCM projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy sectors . The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, engineering QA, internal audits, compliance, and continuous improvement . Home Office QHSE experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Review engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with client specifications, applicable codes, standards, and project requirements .
- Prepare, review, and maintain Project Quality Plans, Quality Procedures, Inspection & Test Plans, and related quality documentation .
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Project Management,



and other functional teams to address and resolve quality-related matters.
- Conduct internal quality audits , identify areas for improvement, and manage NCRs, CAPAs, corrective actions, and quality records .
- Monitor and report quality KPIs , identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure consistent compliance with company, project, client, and applicable quality requirements throughout the engineering/project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 8–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within EPC/Oil & Gas projects.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience in Home Office / Engineering Quality Assurance within an engineering or detailed engineering environment.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification will be an added advantage.
