Q.C. / Q.A. Engineer (Quality Control / Quality Assurance)
Job Summary
Precitech Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused Q.C./Q.A. Engineer to ensure that machined components meet customer specifications and quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for inspection, documentation, problem-solving, and continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-process, final, and incoming material inspections.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, and customer specifications.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Gauge, and other inspection tools.
- Maintain quality inspection reports and documentation.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Handle customer quality requirements and support audits.
- Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams for quality improvements.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and company quality procedures.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Experience in CNC machining, precision components, or manufacturing quality will be an added advantage.
