Remote: Hybrid QA Lead – Technology

Location: Mumbai, India (Hybrid)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to lead quality assurance strategy, execution, and continuous improvement across enterprise-scale back-end and front-end applications.

This role combines hands-on automation expertise with leadership, test strategy, UAT coordination, QA governance, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, IT, and Project teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while driving automation and modern QA practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead QA strategy, planning, execution, and reporting across multiple projects.
- Define and maintain QA standards, governance, processes, and best practices.
- Build QA metrics, dashboards, and quality reports.
- Review requirements, user stories, and create test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Lead UAT planning, execution, release readiness, and defect management.
- Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Design, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, JavaScript/Typescript, and Cucumber BDD.
- Perform API Testing and back-end validation.
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines.
- Leverage AI tools to improve testing efficiency and QA processes.




- Mentor QA engineers and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, including experience leading QA teams or acting as a QA Lead.
- Robust experience in Manual & Automation Testing, with hands-on expertise in Playwright, Selenium, JavaScript/Typescript, Cucumber BDD, API Testing, Backend Validation, REST Assured, and Automation Framework Development.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Jira, Xray, Zephyr, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proven experience in Test Strategy, UAT Planning & Execution, Regression Testing, Release Management, Defect Management, QA Governance, QA Metrics & Reporting, and Continuous Improvement.
- Experience collaborating with Engineering, Product, Operations, IT, and Project teams across multiple work-streams and regions.
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to support test planning, test generation, risk analysis, automation, and QA optimization.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, mentoring, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
