We're looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software through a combination of manual and automated testing. Responsibilities

- Design and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases for web applications and backend services.

- Build, maintain, and enhance automation test suites for UI and API testing.

- Validate frontend functionality, user workflows, and backend business logic.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.

- Test REST APIs, databases, and system integrations to ensure reliability and accuracy.

- Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects through resolution.

- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.

- Contribute to improving QA processes, automation coverage, and release quality.

Requirements

- 2-5 years of experience in software quality assurance.

- Hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.

- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and backend services.





- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

- Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman.

- Good understanding of SQL for database validation.

- Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript for automation is preferred.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Foundations

- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

- Basic understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs.

- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as Jira is a plus.
