Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and services.

- Integrate Datadog for monitoring, logging, and alerting across distributed systems.

- Build custom dashboards, metrics, and alerts to improve system observability.

- Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to optimize infrastructure monitoring.

- Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.

- Troubleshoot performance issues and implement solutions for scalability.

- Document technical designs, workflows, and monitoring configurations.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong proficiency in Python (3.x) with hands-on experience in production systems.

- Experience with Datadog (metrics, dashboards, alerts, APM, log management).

- Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Solid understanding of Linux systems and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
