Company Description Reconverz is building a financial reasoning platform for insurance and financial-services teams. We are a small team working directly with enterprise clients on real business problems.

Role Description You will not be one developer among hundreds. Your work will influence the product, the customer experience and how the company grows. This role is primarily focused on Python engineering. Some work will involve retrieving and working with data in Databricks, but this is not a traditional data-engineering position. Deep AI experience is not required. Strong engineering fundamentals, ownership, curiosity and the ability to learn matter more.

- Build and improve Python-based product features and backend services
- Work with APIs, databases and data held in Databricks
- Experiment on current features, align on best approach and turn them into reliable product features
- Write clean, modular and testable code, using AI-assisted dev tools responsibly
- Support the application in production, investigate issues and identify root causes
- Collaborate closely with the founder, platform lead and other specialists and client teams

Qualifications

- Around five years of strong hands-on Python development skills including backend applications, services or APIs
- Hands-on experience working with Databases (SQL or NoSQL), including schema design, optimization, and data querying.
- Experience with Git, pull requests, agile delivery and collaborative development
- Ability to understand unfamiliar code and systems quickly
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems,



write clear documentation, and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to balance the excitement of innovation with the discipline of dependable delivery
- Background in Software Development practices such as version control, testing, and continuous integration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker) is advantageous.
- Practical exposure to Databricks (Optional)
