PURCHASE & STORE EXECUTIVE

Reports To: Operations Manager

Location: Ciarans, Palolem Beach, South Goa

Employment Type: On Roll, Full-Time Role Summary

Ciarans is seeking a Purchase & Store Executive to set up and manage procurement and stores across kitchen, F&B;, and housekeeping ahead of the October opening. This role builds the vendor base and inventory systems that keep the resort supplied and cost-controlled. Key Responsibilities

- Set up procurement processes, vendor base, and store systems during pre-opening
- Manage purchasing across kitchen, F&B;, housekeeping, and maintenance requirements
- Source and negotiate with local vendors — including fresh seafood, produce, and dry goods suppliers
- Receive, inspect, and store goods, maintaining quality and par stock levels
- Maintain accurate inventory records, indents, and issue registers
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef, Housekeeping, and Finance on budgets and cost tracking
- Manage store hygiene,



FIFO practices, and stock rotation to minimise wastage
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile against records
- Support eco-conscious sourcing consistent with the resort's positioning Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of purchase and stores experience, preferably in hospitality
- Degree/diploma in Hotel Management, Supply Chain, or Commerce
- Working knowledge of inventory/procurement software and Tally
- Understanding of perishable goods handling and local Goa vendor networks an advantage
- Strong negotiation and record-keeping skills Key Attributes
