Position Overview:

The Purchase and Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and managing the end-to-end procurement function. This role demands a strategic, detail-oriented qualified who can build procurement processes from scratch, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely availability of materials and services critical to project success.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and implement purchasing policies, procedures, and guidelines to streamline procurement activities.

- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best quality materials and services at competitive prices.

- Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships and develop a reliable vendor base.

- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to forecast material requirements and budget adherence.

- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance.

- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to avoid delays and excess holding costs.

- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing,



and new suppliers.

- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or timelines.

- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet project schedules.

- Lead and mentor procurement staff as the team grows in the future.

- Prepare regular reports on procurement status, supplier performance, and cost analysis for senior management.

- Team Management and Problem solver, should be a good decision maker.

Requirements:

- Min. 7 years of relevant procurement experience, from real estate, construction, or infrastructure sectors.

- In-depth knowledge of building materials, supplier networks, and construction supply chain logistics.

- Proven experience in managing procurement teams and leading cross-functional collaboration.

- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Familiarity with procurement software/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

- Strong command over Excel
