Company Description The Den, Bengaluru is a Millennial Luxury Hotel located in the central business district of Whitefield, offering 226 rooms across 25 floors on a 2.8-acre property in the city’s IT corridor. It is the first international expansion of the renowned Israeli hospitality chain Dan Hotels, which operates 18 deluxe properties across prime locations in Israel.

The hotel provides a comprehensive “Eat, Work, Sleep, Play” experience through diverse venues, including multi-cuisine and rooftop restaurants, a high-energy cocktail bar, a deli, a juice bar, a club lounge, a spa and wellness center, and a up-to-date gym. With a focus on contemporary luxury, The Den blends grandeur with easy comfort to appeal to modern globetrotters and traditional travelers alike.

Role Description The Purchase Manager is responsible for overseeing all procurement activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality sourcing of goods and services for the hotel. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and monitoring inventory levels to support hotel operations across F&B;, housekeeping, engineering, and other departments.

The Purchase

Manager will analyze market trends and pricing, maintain purchase records, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and relevant regulations.



The role also includes coordinating with internal stakeholders to forecast requirements, optimizing procurement processes, and implementing cost-control measures while maintaining service standards.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement and vendor management skills, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
- Experience in inventory control, demand forecasting, and purchasing for hospitality or related industries.
- Proficiency in using procurement or ERP software and MS Office tools for reporting and analysis.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain processes, cost optimization, and basic financial acumen related to purchasing.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills for cross-functional coordination.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced hotel environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or professional certification in procurement/supply chain is an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role within hotels or hospitality is highly desirable.
