Truzon Solar is building an in-house PR function - no agency dependency for routine media relations. We're looking for a PR professional who personally owns journalist relationships and can pitch, write and secure earned media coverage independently.

Truzon Solar is the consumer-facing brand of Suntek Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., a solar EPC company delivering residential rooftop, commercial and industrial solar installations across South India. We operate in a high-growth, high-visibility category where consumer trust, business credibility and leadership reputation directly influence adoption. As we scale our footprint and sharpen our corporate narrative, we need someone who can build and defend our reputation in the media.

You will own Truzon Solar's media relations and PR function end-to-end - directly engaging journalists, editors and bureau chiefs across national business, renewable-energy, infrastructure and regional media. You'll identify newsworthy opportunities, write and pitch stories, and secure earned coverage through your own professional relationships. You are not managing a media list or coordinating an agency - you are the point of contact media reach out to and pitch into.

You'll report to the Head - Brand & Marketing.

Media Relations & Journalist Network

▪ Maintain active, current relationships with editors, journalists, bureau chiefs and beat reporters across national, business, renewable-energy, infrastructure, trade and regional (Telangana/AP) media

▪ Directly pitch stories, interviews, features, authored articles and expert commentary

▪ Handle journalist enquiries and follow-ups professionally and quickly

PR Planning & Story Development

▪ Build monthly and quarterly PR plans with a proactive story pipeline





▪ Identify newsworthy business, project, customer, leadership and industry angles

▪ Translate technical solar information into clear, credible narratives

Press Releases & Corporate Content

▪ Independently write and edit press releases, media notes, pitches, leadership quotes, interview briefs, by-lined articles, backgrounders and case studies

▪ Ensure all content is factually verified before release

Leadership & Founder Communications

▪ Identify credible leadership-profile opportunities

▪ Prepare spokespersons for interviews with key messages, briefing notes and anticipated Q&A;

▪ Support conferences, panels and media interactions

Corporate, Consumer & Industry Communication

▪ Own communication across rooftop, commercial and industrial solar, policy developments and business milestones

▪ Validate technical, financial and regulatory claims before external use

Reputation & Crisis Communication

▪ Monitor reputation risks and escalate sensitive issues promptly

▪ Prepare holding statements and coordinate response with leadership

▪ Manage media communication during customer, project or operational issues

Events, Forums & Media Opportunities

▪ Evaluate press meets, project visits, conferences and speaking opportunities for genuine relevance

▪ Decline vanity awards and disguised advertorials

Monitoring, Measurement & Reporting

▪ Track company, leadership,



competitor and sector coverage

▪ Submit a concise monthly PR report with recommendations

▪ Coverage quality and relevance matter more than volume - we don't use AVE as a metric

▪ 4-8 years of relevant PR or corporate communications experience

▪ Robust, current media relationships across national business, renewable-energy/infrastructure and regional (Telangana/AP) publications - not a purchased or shared database

▪ Proven ability to secure earned-media coverage through personal outreach

▪ Strong writing and editing ability

▪ Experience supporting senior leadership through media interactions

▪ Sound understanding of business and current affairs

▪ Exposure to crisis or sensitive-issue communication

▪ Ability to work independently, without routine agency support
