Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Assist psychologists and social workers in conducting dementia and cognitive screening programs. (National Centre for Ageing & SCARF)
- Support the administration and scoring of basic psychological and cognitive assessment tools under supervision.
- Participate in community outreach, awareness programmes, workshops, and screening camps.
- Interact empathetically with older adults, caregivers, and community members.
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and maintaining assessment data and documentation.
- Prepare case notes, reports, presentations, and follow-up records.
- Support coordination of field visits, training sessions, and community events.
- Maintain confidentiality, ethical standards, and qualified conduct in all interactions.
- Assist with research, data analysis, and programme evaluation activities where applicable.
- Contribute to planning and execution of DemCon 2026 and other organizational initiatives, as assigned.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth implementation of programmes.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned by supervisors to support ongoing mental health and dementia care initiatives.
